Born and raised in the Portland metro area, Dr. Sheets is right at home with local favorites like JoJo's, Voodoo Doughnuts, and potato bugs. A proud graduate of Oregon State University, Dr. Sheets earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree before beginning her career as a general-practice veterinarian in Portland.

She brings a wealth of experience in both feline and canine medicine, with a particular passion for lagomorph (rabbit) care. As the first in her family to attend college, Dr. Sheets is dedicated to inspiring others who are interested in pursuing veterinary medicine and supporting the next generation of animal-care professionals.

Dr. Sheets believes in forming genuine, personal connections with every client and patient. By getting to know families and their pets, she strives to provide the most comfortable, transparent, and compassionate care possible.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Sheets enjoys acrylic painting, exploring cities, beach trips, hiking, and traveling in search of new experiences. At home, she shares life with two beloved companions — Pancake, an 8-year-old domestic shorthair cat, and Yoshi, a 4-year-old Holland Lop rabbit.
