Frontline Plus (manufactured by Merial Limited generic name fiptonil, s-methoprene) is a once-a-month topically (on-the-skin) applied medication, which can be used for puppies and kittens 8 weeks or older. Frontline Plus kills 100% of adult fleas within 18 hours of application and contains an insect growth regulator, which kills flea eggs and larvae. Frontline Plus also provides effective tick control and kills all ticks within 48 hours of application.
